  • Introduction to Windows Azure AppFabric Applications

    1:15 PM Sunday   Room: 4204
This presentation is an introduction to Windows Azure AppFabric Applications – a Microsoft community technology preview that supports the composition of services into an application which can be deployed into the Windows Azure Platform. AppFabric Applications provides a high-level platform-as-a-service that sits on top of classic Windows Azure. It supports the modeling of services in a way that allows the provision of Visual Studio tooling to support service composition, and the provision of a management portal to support the deployment lifecycle. In this presentation, we will see how service composition works and the support provided for it in Visual Studio. We will also see how to use the AppFabric Applications Manager to support the deployment and management of AppFabric Applications.
