Do you like robots? Yea, me too, who doesn’t. In this workshop, we will explore robotics using the ROBOTIS Play 600 robot. You will learn how to assemble them into one of the predefined pets or build your own custom robot creature. At the end we will have a race to see which one is the fastest. This workshop is for ages 6 to 10 and is limited to 20 students due to the number of kits we have to use. So come join the robot revolution and have fun doing it.

It uses the MEAN stack along with a Raspberry PI Zero. Learn Angular 2.0, NODE, MongoDB and IOT by exploring this project. In this session, we will using Node.js, socket.io, Azure cognitive services vision api, with VSCode to detect “critters” and shoot water at them to keep them away from your pond/garden/flowers/whatever.
