What to expect from your Agile Coach, and what they should expect from you

What purpose does an Agile Coach serve? Do we need a coach, or are we ready for one? This seminar will discuss in an Agile way why a team would hire an Agile Coach, and what the Agile Coach will do for them, and what's needed for effective coaching.

About This Session

Agile is becoming ever more pervasive in hardware/software development, and with it comes a convoluting of what it means to be Agile. Are we practicing Agile? Or are we "Lean by Necessity"? What do Agile experts know that we do not? Where can we go to learn more about Agile?

In organizations, this is where an Agile Coach enters the picture, an Agile expert who knows not only about Agile, but how to convey it to others. What purpose does the Agile Coach serve in an Agile transformation? What does he need, from technical teams or leadership, to facilitate the Agile transformation?

These are the questions this seminar seeks to answer. We will cover how an Agile Coach may enter an organization, what services they may provide, and what they need to provide those services. This will not be an exhaustive course, as we would need more than 50 minutes. However, it will discuss at a high level the expectations on both sides of the table that need to be met for an Agile transformation to succeed.
