Lena Tran is a published author, noted speaker and expert on leadership. She has lectured on various topics involving leadership and empowerment, entrepreneurship, marketing, career development, and Vietnamese- and Asian-American experiences.
In January, she became the first Vietnamese-American senior administrator at Evergreen Valley College. Before joining Evergreen, she was the driving force behind the development of the business and administration programs at the U.C. Santa Cruz Extension in Silicon Valley.
The Office of Academic Affairs oversees all instructional aspects of the College. Under the direction of the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the office works directly with the academic divisions: Business and Workforce Development, Nursing and Allied Health, Math, Science, and Engineering, Language Arts, Library and Learning Resources, and Social Sciences, Humanities, Arts, and Physical Education (SSHAPE). In addition, Evergreen Valley College models a holistic and integrated approach to providing maximum learning experiences for its students.
