I will be sharing my experiences supporting millions of users on Covered California site. We will discuss tools of the trade like New Relic, Eclipse MAT and JRockit Flight Recordings (JFRs), Oracle AWR. Identifying memory leaks and continuous profiling of running applications in production environments will also be discussed

I am a Principal Architect at Scanadu, responsible for Data Engineering and Cloud Services. Previously, I worked on security and performance issues for Covered California. Before that, I was Director,platform engineering for a healthcare analytics company in the Silicon Valley. I have over 10 years experience working with Java, J2EE technologies. I am on constant lookout for new technologies which might be useful in the healthcare industry.
