Mike has been CEO of Hewett Research in Palo Alto since 2004. Previously he was a Research Scientist in the Bioinformatics group at Stanford University. His goal is to improve software development practice through knowledge modeling and intelligent assistants. He has a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and has implemented the Algernon rule engine and the Jatha LISP library for Java.
