About This Session
Containers are the new abstraction for the datacenter, both on-site and off. They seem like VMs, but they aren't. Learn a variety of ways to run containers in your organization, for both Linux and Windows and where containers fit in the world of private and public cloud offerings.In this session, you will learn a variety of ways to run and use containers and microservices in your organization, for both Linux and Windows applications. Container technology allows you to achieve greater density on your hosts, reduce conflicts between dev/test/prod environments and increase deployment speed.
You can easily get started using Docker containers on your workstation, bring those containers to your datacenter or cloud provider (either on IaaS or a container service) and then deploy them at scale using popular orchestration tools, like Docker or Kubernetes.
