Exploring C++11/14

A quick introduction to some of the most useful new language features in C++11 and 14.

About This Session

Are you a C++ developer who has heard it said that C++ is a 'new language' with the release of the C++11 and C++14 standards? Have you been wondering what these new features are, and how you can apply them to your existing code?

In this session we will review some of the most useful new language features and explore how to apply them, with a particular emphasis on improving code clarity and correctness.

This session is targeted for developers with a working knowledge of the C++ programming language who have not had the opportunity to keep up with the latest and greatest changes in the C++ language standard.
