Session Details
Analyzing On-Chip Interconnect with Modern C++
Presentation
The speaker will demonstrate how to apply techniques from Modern C++ to a representative EDA problem: managing the large databases of circuit information generated from parasitic extraction of contemporary ASIC designs. The Boost Spirit, Graph, and ODEInt libraries will be discussed, along with the Eigen matrix library; they will be applied to parsing, scrubbing, simulating, and performing model order reduction on extracted circuits.
The Speaker(s)

Jeff Trull
Jeff studied at Carnegie Mellon, then spent a number of years designing microprocessors, first at HP, then AMD. He has consulted since then on a variety of projects including medical device software, HTML5 mobile apps, CAD for ASIC design, and 3D model display.
