Would you like to introduce you child early on to the wonders of programming?</br> Scratch http://scratch.mit.edu is a programming language for kids that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art.<br/> On this hands on session Shani (10) and I will teach the fundamentals of Scratch programming, develop an interactive story and a simple game.<br/> It is recommended to bring a laptop with Scratch preinstalled to get the most of this session.<br/> No scratch or programming experience is needed <br/> Please note that kids on campus require full time adult supervision.

Gabi Zuniga

Gabi Zuniga has been developing mobile applications since 2008. He is a co-founder and CTO of VoiceLayer where he architects frameworks for enhancing apps with realtime voice messaging. Gabi enjoys exploring new technologies and competing at hackathons.

Shani (11) started programming at age 7 with Scratch and Alice. She plays clarinet at the school band and enjoys playing soccer too.
