Introduction to Comet and Bayeux. Comet is the ability to push information to the browser from the server. Ajax can be used to allow the browser to request information from the web server, but does not allow a server to push updates to a browser. Comet solves this problem. Will discuss AJAX polling, long polling, and Streaming. Examples will be given using Jetty, Maven, Dojo.
