Speaking Sessions

  • Create an App using MIT's App Inventor!

In this session, we will go over how to create an app using the MIT App Inventor, a very simple and fun web-based platform for creating custom apps. With little to no coding experience required, this session is perfect for anyone. You will learn how to create an interactive app all about your favorite animals: puppies, dinosaurs, kittens- you'll get to choose! We'll be integrating visuals and audio, and I'll teach you how to view the app on any Android device so you can go home and show all your friends/ family. Kids will leave with a thorough understanding of how to use the MIT App Inventor, a finished app, and a desire to create more on their own!
