The Sixth Edition of JavaScript's ECMAScript standard was published in June of this year. It contains some important new good parts, many unnecessary and unimportant features, and unfortunately, more really bad parts.

Programmers are not like the other kids. They cannot and should not be managed like normal people if your intent is to produce high quality software.
