  • Build a cross-platform enterprise LOB mobile app with offline sync

    3:30 PM Saturday   Room: 3106
You're an enterprise, and you want to build a mobile LOB app for your employees. However, you have an on-premises database, you want to authenticate against your own Active Directory domain, and you need your app to work even when users can't get on the network. Oh, and it has to be on iOS, Android, and Windows. Sounds like a tall order, but come to this talk to learn how to make all the pieces fit together using Azure Mobile Services, C#, and Xamarin.

  • Azure for Open Source Developers

    1:15 PM Sunday   Room: 5501
What could Microsoft's cloud platform Azure do for open source developers? As it turns out, lots. Come see how to deploy your Node, Python, Java, and PHP apps to Azure Web Sites, a PaaS offering. Learn how to use other Azure components such as storage, databases, queues, and more. Want to run Linux virtual machines? You can do that too. All demos will be done from a Mac to prove that Azure is a great place for non-Windows developers too.
