Speaking Sessions

  • Intro to SWIG for Perl, Python, and Ruby

    9:15 AM Sunday    Room: 4218
This session is a tutorial on how to create OO interfaces for Perl, Python, and Ruby to systems implemented in C. You will see code in this session. Code code code. Follow along building the sample app on your laptop or just watch, but there is working code here. The simple demo app stores and retrieves lists of strings with SQLite. Have swig 1.3 or 2.0 and SQLite 3.7+ and at least one of Perl, Python, or Ruby installed if you plan to follow along building the demo app on your laptop.
